Oh Julia–you just need to take a deep breath and go for it!
But—to give you a visual, let me write a post for you!
Send me a picture of your dresser project so I can see!

Hey, Catherine! I finally did it and I’m sooooo excited! It’s not nearly as pretty as your bench, but so much better than the dresser it was! I hope you think so, too. Thanks for the inspiration!

Great idea! I wouldn’t have thought of cutting it down like that.
What a great idea. I passed up a dresser at a garage sale that would have been perfect for this:( It has a seat plus storage, so it is pretty and functional.

You should have hundreds of comments on this by now. I am so impressed and since i am very creative, it takes a lot for me to really love something like this. So stunning.
Thanks Terry—I really love your decoupaged table project with the old pages and bird! Wouldn’t that be cool on an old dresser?!

Saw your “post” rather. Hopefully, it will be featured!
This is such a great idea. I have a dresser in the garage that I was just going to turn the empty drawer spaces into basket storage, but you have me thinking otherwise. I have also seen dressers where they cut off the top and make them into high entrance seats.
What a great transformation. Really, really nice!
What an awesome idea. I love it!
Absolutely LOVE this! I’m featuring it on Thrifty Thursday and will also be pinning it to my Pinterest board! Thanks for linking!
