Never! Very cool looking, though. They are really in different time zones – 6 minutes and however many hours! ; ). i need that to figure out time zones because we Arizonans don’t go on Daylight Savings Time. (My Dad in very western Kansas,1/4 mile from Colorado, hated the DS Time, as it really screwed up the farmers and the repair places who were close by, but in a different time zone and therefore closed way too early.)
Beautiful time piece. Do you know anything else about it?
Hi Patty! I can’t remember when I first learned of/saw a Two-Timer, but the last time I saw one was in the later ’90’s. I always thought they were fabulous for traveling out of your own time zone or keeping track of family in other time zones- ’cause like you said, Arizonians are some of the few who don’t change times twice a year! (Just pick a time and stick with it folks!)
I also think one of those would be a great idea, those are really neat and having family on both the east coast and the west coast that would come in so handy. Thanks for sharing. I was remembering the other night when I was in High school (not sharing that one sure it is old now) we had ink pens on a chain remember those?
My whole career has revolved around real estate --selling it, building it, renovating it, designing it, decorating it! That might make me the ultimate "domestic," right ?!
Well, as one thing leads to another, the years spent in high end kitchen design really helped to hone my skills for REpurposing and REinventing furniture. Which brought me to blogging and meeting all of you- the ones who "understand," who I don't have to explain my crazy ideas to. Yes- it's a sickness, and there's NO vaccine! But read more in my "about me" page! Catherine
