I really don’t quite get what this is. Apparently it came from a department store—is it a prop or display piece??
Any way, it had 25 candle bulbs that could blind you even using low wattage, and could certainly heat up your room–! Strange thing.
I still thought it was interesting–it made me think of a hat tree. Which is exactly what I intend to use it as!
See–?!?
“What fun” it was to remove all those candles and tighten up all its loosie-goosie parts!

I’m sharing this project with these fabulous Linky Parties!
My aunt had an iron “tree” that I think was for hanging plants. She had it painted and used it as a display in her clothing store for hats and purses. It’s now on my porch awaiting repainting and use back as a plant tree.
Yours is quite lovely….

I soooo need that!! I have a passion for hats! In fact on Easter people at church come up and question me if I don’t wear one! Kinda funny;) Anyways I have an old coat rack…think wooden with the ‘S’ hooks. But the screws are stripped on it so it doesn’t stay together well. Any suggestions? My email is snscarrier@gmail.com
Thanks:)

Crazy! I wonder if someone made it as a candle holder and it was once something else?! What you did by repurposing it into a hat tree is a wonderful idea! It’s a lovely way to display all those beautiful hats!
